  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 onions, cut into rings

  • pepper
  • 4 beef steaks

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Whisk together the broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and pepper. Set aside. Heat the oil and fry the steaks, then remove them and wrap them in aluminum foil to keep warm. Clean the pan. Heat the butter in the pan. Fry the onion rings for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then cover and cook for another 5 minutes. Pour in the broth mixture and heat everything for another 2 minutes. Serve with the steaks. I always serve them with spaetzle.
