Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of lemon flavor (Zitroback)
  • 375 g flour
  • 125 g cornstarch
  • 1 baking powder
  • 100 g candied lemon
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g currants
  • 100 g almond sticks
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 shot of brandy
  • 200 g icing sugar, approx., depending on the amount of egg white
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ tsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

sufficient for 2 loaf tins of 25 cm each

Combine the Stollen ingredients and divide between two 25 cm loaf pans. Bake on the bottom rack at 180-200°C for approximately 60-80 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan! For the glaze, combine the powdered sugar, egg white, and oil and spread it over the cooled Stollen.
