Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 slices of white bread
  • 150 g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 gherkins
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 pinch(s) black pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with white bread a tasty variation

The bread slices should be lightly toasted. Let them cool slightly and then spread with butter. Spread a very thin layer of mustard on top. Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Dice the ham as well. Gently heat both in a pan until translucent and spread it on the prepared bread slices. Sprinkle the gherkin cubes over the slices. Season lightly with pepper. Place two slices of bread on each plate. Fry the fried eggs and place them on the bread, then sprinkle with chives and paprika.
