Strawberry Cake Ala Sabrinchen
The perfect strawberry cake ala sabrinchen recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 packet Viennese cake base, 3er
- 1 glass Strawberry jam
- 4 a cup Cream
- 4 packet Cream stiffener
- 3 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Frozen strawberries or
- 2 Pakete frische Erdbeeren
- Decoration:
- 1 packet Colorful sugar sprinkles or
- Brittle
- Put the TK strawberries on a sieve and let them thaw. Set aside 12 strawberries for decoration. If you use fresh ones, clean, wash and drain them. Also set aside 12 for decoration. Cut the remaining strawberries into small pieces.
- Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff and fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Brush the first cake base with some strawberry jam and put some of the strawberry cream on top and smooth it out. 2. Put the cake base on top, spread the strawberry jam and put some of the strawberry cream on top again. Put the last crust on top and brush the cake all around with the remaining strawberry cream.
- Decorate with the strawberries and the sugar sprinkles or brittle and put in the refrigerator for a few hours (preferably one night).
- Tip 5: If you like, you can also prepare this cake with raspberries and raspberry jam or any berries.
- If you want, you can color the cream with red food coloring.

- For a hazelnut cake, simply fold 400 g of ground hazelnuts into the cream, coat the cake base with a hazelnut cream and use for the decoration brittle, chocolate sprinkles or hazelnut kernels dipped in chocolate 🙂
