Strawberry-Coconut-Jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 pack of citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the strawberries and remove the green stems. Cut into large pieces. Mash the strawberries slightly in a bowl, leaving enough fruit pieces. Add the coconut milk, gelling sugar, and citric acid. Pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for another three minutes. Pour the hot jam into prepared jars and seal immediately. Tip: As soon as you’ve sealed the jars, immediately turn them upside down. This seals the jar airtight and kills any germs on the top rim. Turn the jam upside down again before it cools completely.
