Instructions
 

Preparation, elderberry unwashed:

  • Remove the elderflower from the stems, check for animals, do not wash, otherwise the stamens are gone and the scent is gone.
  • Wash the strawberries, remove the greens, cut into small pieces. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar and let stand for a good 3 hours.

Remove flowers with a fork:

  • Remove the elder, otherwise it will be too dark.

Add mint:

  • Wash the mint and cut into fine strips.
  • Mix with the preserving sugar & lemon juice and simmer for 3 minutes.

Mixing:

  • Finely puree with a mixer.

Bottling:

  • Fill into clean rinsed jars with screw lids, hot & 5 MIn. turn it upside down.

Tip :

  • I will use my syrup next time I find it easier.
