Strawberry-kiwi dessert with lemon curd

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 1 large kiwi(s)
  • 250 g quark (20% fat)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 tbsp liqueur (fruit liqueur) of your choice or maple syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the strawberries, dry them on kitchen paper, and slice them. Set aside 3 smaller strawberries for decoration, if desired. Marinate the strawberry slices with 1 tablespoon of liqueur. I like to use chokeberry liqueur or blackcurrant. If you prefer it without alcohol, you can use 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Peel the kiwi, slice them, and quarter them. Mix the quark with sugar and lemon juice until smooth. In prepared dessert glasses, first place a layer of strawberry slices, a few kiwi pieces, and then some quark on top. Repeat until all the quark and fruit have been used up. Finally, decorate with 1 strawberry and/or kiwi pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
