Strawberry Pancakes with Maple Syrup

The perfect strawberry pancakes with maple syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

for the dough:

  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Butter, liquid
  • 100 ml Maple syrup
  • Neutral oil for frying
  • 200 g Flour
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter, liquid
  1. Wash the strawberries, carefully pat dry with kitchen paper, clean and cut into thin slices

Preparation of pancakes:

  1. use the first 6 ingredients to make a smooth dough. Mix the liquid butter and half of the strawberries into the batter. add sugar to the remaining strawberries
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the pancakes one after the other and keep them warm in the oven
  3. Bring the maple syrup to the boil briefly with the remaining butter
  4. to serve, place the pancakes on plates, spread the strawberries and maple syrup over them
