Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g strawberries
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 125 ml whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes
Hull and wash the strawberries, then puree them. Beat the egg yolks and icing sugar in a bowl and stir in the pureed fruit. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and carefully mix into the fruit and egg yolk mixture. Pour into a loaf pan (approx. 16 cm long) lined with freezer wrap, place in the freezer and leave to freeze for approx. 4 hours. To serve, briefly dip the pan in hot water until the ice cream around the edges thaws slightly. Lift out using the ends of the freezer wrap sticking out at the edges, cut the parfait into slices and arrange on plates. Tip: If the pan is not lined with foil, place a plate upside down on the pan and quickly turn both over, shaking them if necessary until the parfait comes loose.
