Strawberry – pineapple – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg strawberries
  • 1 kg pineapple (if you prefer a more pineapple-y flavor, you can also use 1.5 kg)
  • 1 kg sugar (up to 1.5 kg depending on the sweetness of the fruit)
  • 3 bags of Gelfix

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the strawberries, hull and chop the pineapple, and cook both in a large pot until soft. Puree with a hand blender or pass through a food mill. Bring the sugar to a boil and stir in the jam gel. When the jam has set, pour the jam into twist-off jars and seal immediately. Turn upside down for 5 minutes.
