Strawberry-Rhubarb Fruit Sauce

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 kg rhubarb
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 0.7 liters of water
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

versatile, tasty and low-calorie sauce

Peel the rhubarb and cut into small pieces about 3 cm long. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and quarter them. Place everything in a pot with water and cook until soft. Add a little more water if necessary, if it’s too thick. Once everything is cooked, puree. Sweeten slightly if desired.
