Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped pulp
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Totally simple and super delicious!!!!

First, you need to thoroughly puree the strawberries, transfer them to a large pot, and mix them well with the gelling sugar. Then, bring the strawberries to a boil. While it’s boiling, add the vanilla sugar, the vanilla bean pulp, and a few drops of lemon juice. Then let the mixture simmer for at least 3 minutes. Next, fill the jam to the tops of hot, rinsed jars and screw the lids on. Then, place the jars on their lids for 5 minutes, then turn them upside down and let them cool.
