Stuffed apple with cream cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple, red
  • 10 g butter, melted
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • e.g. powdered sugar
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 20 ml milk
  • Almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the top off the apple and scoop it out with a knife and spoon, taking care not to damage the outer skin. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl and brush the inside of the apple with the mixture. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk. Fill the apple with the cheese mixture and sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 160°C (convection oven) for 30 minutes.
