Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 600 g cheese, Brie in a piece
  • 50 g pistachios
  • 200 g double cream cheese
  • ½ dl crème fraîche
  • 1 bunch tarragon
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Finely chop the pistachios and tarragon leaves. Mix the double cream cheese with the crème fraîche, chopped pistachios, and tarragon. Lightly salt and season well with freshly ground black pepper. Chill for 1/2 hour. Then cut the Brie in half horizontally. Spread the cream cheese mixture on each half and chill the whole thing again. Remove from the refrigerator about 1 hour before serving and let stand at room temperature until ready to eat.
