Stuffed Chocolate French Toast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 2 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp oil, or butter or margarine
  • ½ banana(s), thinly sliced, as desired
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

French toast with chocolate

Spread two slices of toast with hazelnut spread on one side and fold them tightly together with the other two. Super delicious: First, place banana slices on the chocolate spread, then fold them together. Whisk the egg and milk in a shallow bowl and toss the bread in the milk, allowing it to soak in the liquid. Heat oil, butter, or margarine in a pan and fry the soaked bread over medium heat. To serve, dust with powdered sugar and serve with the remaining banana slices.
