Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 dates
  • 16 almonds, peeled
  • 16 slice(s) bacon (cooked bacon)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut the dates open and fill each with an almond, then wrap them in bacon and carefully secure with a toothpick. Bake in the oven for about 5-10 minutes or pan-fry. A savory version is filled with blue cheese.
