Stuffed figs from the oven

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 figs
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g quark
  • 3 carnations
  • Pistachios, chopped
  • 150 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut off a piece of the top of the figs and scoop out the insides. Place the insides in a bowl, mash them with a spoon, and break them up a bit. Add the vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Then add the quark and mix everything together. Fill the figs with the mixture and place them in a bowl. Add the water and a few cloves to the bowl. Place the bowl on the middle rack of the oven. Bake the figs at 180°C (convection oven) for 25 minutes. Remove them; the quark should now have risen slightly. Place them on a plate and serve sprinkled with pistachios.
