Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 roll
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 4 sprigs of mint
- 1 kg minced meat (half and half)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp, heaped salt
- pepper
- 1 ½ tsp cumin
- 1 ½ tsp oregano, dried
- 4 tbsp oil, for frying
- Lemon(s), as garnish

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Greek meatballs
Knead the listed ingredients into a meatball dough. Then make a test dumpling and cook it (this goes very quickly in the microwave). Add more salt or more of the other spices to taste. However, the dough will still cook a bit, so be careful with the cumin. With wet hands, form about 20 smaller oval meatballs and fry them in hot oil for 6-8 minutes until browned. Make sure the keftedes are nicely browned on all sides. Serve with lemon wedges.
