Stuffed mushrooms for grilling

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 large mushrooms
  • 100 g smoked bacon
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cup Emmental or Gouda, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Side dish for grilling

Carefully remove the mushroom stems and chop very finely. Finely dice the bacon and onions. Fry the bacon, then add the crushed garlic, chopped stems, and onions. Briefly fry until the onions are translucent. Let cool briefly. Mix with the remaining ingredients and season to taste. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture and place in aluminum foil nests. Sprinkle the stuffed mushrooms with a little more cheese, if desired. Grill indirectly on the grill for 10-15 minutes; if necessary, you can also use the oven.
