Stuffed mushrooms with cheese sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 large mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 10 g butter
  • 30 g fat
  • 40 g flour
  • ¼ liter of water
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 75 g processed cheese
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder
  • nutmeg
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Wash the mushrooms, twist out the stems, remove the gills if necessary, and brush the mushroom caps with lemon juice. Finely dice the onion and mushroom stems and sauté in butter for 2-3 minutes. Let the mixture cool, then add to the minced meat mixture and season with salt and paprika. Now fill the mushrooms with the minced meat mixture, grease a baking dish, and place the mushrooms in it. Melt the fat in a saucepan, add the flour, and sauté briefly. Then add the water and milk while stirring. Dissolve the cream cheese in this sauce and season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Then pour the sauce over the mushrooms and place them in the oven. Serve with fresh baguette.
