Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 chili peppers, fresh, red
  • 4 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 jar Pepper, green, mild

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

for cold platters or parties

Crumble the feta into a bowl and mash with a fork. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Split and deseed the chilies, then slice them into thin rings. Mix everything into the feta. Stir in the sour cream until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and paprika. You can also add chopped, fresh red bell peppers instead of the chilies. Cut the mild chili peppers open lengthwise and deseed them. Fill the pepperonis with the cheese mixture using a nozzle or a large syringe from a pharmacy. Makes several servings, depending on the number of pepperonis in the jar. Livens up any cold buffet!
