Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large beefsteak tomatoes
  • 400 g sheep’s cheese
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Sheep cheese tomatoes with garlic

Cut a lid off the beefsteak tomatoes and set aside. Hollow out the tomatoes and use the insides for a tomato sauce, for example. Crush the garlic cloves with a fork and a little salt until a paste forms. Chop the parsley and basil. Mix the garlic, herbs, and feta cheese. Season to taste. If the feta cheese is very dry, stir in a little olive oil. Fill the tomatoes with the mixture and put the lid on. Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Add the tomatoes. Bake in the oven at 180–200°C for about 20 minutes.
