Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 white bread (500 g)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red and green
  • 750 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp salt and pepper
  • 2 pairs of sausages (Wiener)
  • 2 cucumber(s) (pickles)
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the white bread lengthwise, remove the inside, tear half of it into pieces, and drizzle with milk. Finely chop the onions, dice the bell peppers, and finely chop the parsley. Knead the minced meat with the vegetables, eggs, and seasonings thoroughly, then mix in the white bread. First, place half of the minced meat filling on the bottom half of the bread, followed by the sausages and gherkins. Place the second half of the minced meat filling on the top half of the bread and reassemble the bread. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 250°C for about 1.5 hours.
