Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk for brushing
  • some raisins for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quark – oil – dough, simply delicious

Mix the quark with the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, milk, and oil. Then stir in the baking powder and flour and knead the dough thoroughly. If the dough is too dry, add a little milk. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Take a piece from each portion and form a ball for the head. Shape the dough portions into long, thick sausages and flatten them. Cut into the bottom with a knife and form the legs. Cut into the sides and form the arms. Press the head ball down and flatten them as well. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave enough space; the guys will rise beautifully! Brush with milk and decorate with raisins for the eyes and buttons. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for about 18 minutes. Check beforehand, as the guys shouldn’t get too dark, otherwise they’ll be too hard later. For Easter, I shape the dough into bunny heads; my kids love them just as much.
