Sugarloaf salad with mandarin orange dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ head of lettuce (sugarloaf)
  • 4 tbsp walnuts
  • 2 tangerines
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • e.g. sea salt and pepper
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 10 ml walnut oil
  • 20 ml olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the outer leaves from the sugarloaf. Quarter the lettuce, remove the stem, and finely chop. Wash and drain well. Roast the walnuts in a dry pan. Now it’s time to make the salad dressing. To make this, squeeze the tangerines and lemon and place them in a bowl. Add sea salt, pepper, the finely diced onions, and the oil. Finally, dress the salad and serve. Garnish with the toasted walnuts.
