Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s)
  • 200g tzatziki
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 10 green olives stuffed with paprika paste
  • Pul Beaver
  • Sumac
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice mix for meat
  • Dill tips
  • 5 large cevapcici (from the butcher or meat counter)
  • 1 eggplant(s)
  • Oil for frying

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

First, slice the flatbread horizontally and spread the tzatziki all over it. Top with sliced ​​onions and olives. Season generously with pul biber, sumac, paprika, and dill sprigs. Fry the cevapcici in a pan with a little oil or on a tabletop grill. Then spread the cevapcici all around the flatbread so that you can easily cut five sandwiches later. Cut the eggplant into small cubes and fry in a pan with a little oil until soft. Season with salt, pepper, and a little meat seasoning. Place the eggplant on the flatbread. Place the lid of the flatbread on top and cut the bread into five sandwiches. Note: This also works well as meal prep for the office; prepare the sandwiches the evening before and store them in the refrigerator until the next morning. They taste great cold too, especially in summer!
