Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 flatbread(s)
- 200g tzatziki
- 1 onion(s)
- 10 green olives stuffed with paprika paste
- Pul Beaver
- Sumac
- Paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
- Spice mix for meat
- Dill tips
- 5 large cevapcici (from the butcher or meat counter)
- 1 eggplant(s)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
for the whole family
First, slice the flatbread horizontally and spread the tzatziki all over it. Top with sliced onions and olives. Season generously with pul biber, sumac, paprika, and dill sprigs. Fry the cevapcici in a pan with a little oil or on a tabletop grill. Then spread the cevapcici all around the flatbread so that you can easily cut five sandwiches later. Cut the eggplant into small cubes and fry in a pan with a little oil until soft. Season with salt, pepper, and a little meat seasoning. Place the eggplant on the flatbread. Place the lid of the flatbread on top and cut the bread into five sandwiches. Note: This also works well as meal prep for the office; prepare the sandwiches the evening before and store them in the refrigerator until the next morning. They taste great cold too, especially in summer!
