a quick side salad that guests will love.
Peel the young Gouda and cut into approximately 1 cm cubes. Deseed the bell peppers and also cut them into approximately 1 cm pieces. Drain the water from the corn and let the corn drain. In a large bowl, combine the Miracle Whip, tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika to form a marinade, then season to taste. Add the cheese, bell peppers, and corn to the marinade and mix well. Let it sit in a cool place for a few hours, if possible. Young Gouda is best for this recipe because of its soft and creamy texture. If you don’t like a particular type of bell pepper, you can substitute it. However, different varieties bring different flavors and colors. If using canned corn, the liquid must be removed. This works best if you open the can only slightly, turn it upside down, and let the liquid drain into the sink, for example. Any other mayonnaise or salad dressing will do. It can be heavily seasoned, as young Gouda usually has a relatively mild taste.
