Super easy yeast plait

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 42 g yeast
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 75 g sugar
  • 600 g flour
  • 150 g butter, melted or oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Sugar (granulated sugar)
  • Almond(s) (flakes)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Make a regular yeast dough from the ingredients (except the granulated sugar and flaked almonds), then let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Divide the dough into three equal pieces and shape them into rolls. Braid them into a plait. Place the plait on a baking sheet (greased or lined with parchment paper) and brush with a little milk. Sprinkle with the granulated sugar and flaked almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35-40 minutes.
