Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 tbsp onion(s), diced
- 2 medium-sized gherkins, diced
- 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
- 1 tbsp apple, diced
- 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, apple
- Salt, not too little (the potatoes absorb a lot)
- Pepper, not too little (the potatoes absorb a lot)
- some sugar or other sweetener
- 2 tbsp salad cream legere, 4.9%
- 350 g potatoes, peeled and diced
- ⅛ liter meat broth

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

First, combine the listed ingredients to make the sauce and stir. Then, cook the potato cubes in the broth for about 10 minutes. Drain the potatoes, reserving the cooking broth. Add the still-hot (!) cubes to the sauce, carefully fold in, adding a little more of the cooking broth if desired, and let stand for at least 24 hours. Stir through again before serving and adjust seasoning if necessary.
