Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can tuna in its own juice
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped or pureed
  • 40 ml water
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard, medium hot
  • salt and pepper
  • chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Delicious both hot and cold, low in calories and carbohydrates, also suitable as a pasta sauce

Heat the can of tuna in a saucepan and break it up a bit with a wooden spoon. Puree the tomatoes and add them to the tuna along with the water. Season with mustard, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Bring back to a boil, and you’re done. It tastes even better with onions. If you want to make it as a pasta sauce, omit the water to keep it thicker.
