Sorrel is very good for both men and women. With the first warm days, our diet has become noticeably richer. The first greens appeared in the markets and in the garden plots: parsley, green onions, spinach, and sorrel.
Sorrel: benefits for the body
Fresh sorrel leaves are rich in vitamins A, E, K, group B, oxalic and ascorbic acid, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Sorrel helps to satisfy the need for vitamins, improves blood vessels and coagulation, stimulates the production of bile, useful for vision.
Sorrel contains a large amount of folic acid, which is very useful for pregnant women. The benefit of sorrel for men is to prevent diseases of the urogenital system. This herb activates the liver and reduces putrefactive fermentation, which is useful for colitis and hemorrhoids.
What is harmful to sorrel
Sorrel should not be consumed for a long time. Sorrel acid accumulates in the body, causes a violation of mineral metabolism, and negatively affects the urinary system.
