Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 g spaetzle
  • 500 g pork
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 ml water
  • n. B. Sauce powder
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the pork into thin strips – alternatively, buy strips straight away. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean and slice the fresh mushrooms. Peel the garlic clove and crush it with a little salt in a mortar and pestle. Sauté the onions in a large, deep pan, add the meat, and sear until crispy. Then add the crushed garlic clove and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the water and the spaetzle. Thicken with sauce powder as needed and simmer for about 15-20 minutes – adding a little more water if necessary. Finally, season to taste and serve. Tip: If you like, you can sprinkle some finely chopped parsley on top.
