Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 egg yolks
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 5 tbsp milk
- 125 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 egg whites
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 200 g almonds (flaked almonds)
- 1 pineapple, fresh (alternatively from a can)
- Grease for the tray
- 2 cups of cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Beat 3 egg yolks with 100g sugar, 150g butter, and 5 tbsp milk until frothy. Stir in the flour and baking powder. Place the batter on a greased baking sheet. Beat the egg whites, sugar, and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form and spread over the batter. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C on the second rack from the bottom for about 20 minutes. Let cool, then cut into about 20 pieces. Spread half of the pieces on a cake plate. Whip 2 cups of cream and spread it on the 10 pieces. Cut a pineapple into small pieces (canned pineapple is also very good) and spread it on top of the 10 pieces with the whipped cream. Press it lightly into the cream, then top with the remaining 10 pieces.
