Sweet and sour cucumber salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 500 g quark
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 10 g dill
  • 150 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, peel the cucumber or rinse it with hot water and cut it into thin, unpeeled slices. Then, take a mixing bowl and add the quark, squeezed lemon, sugar, and dill. Tip: Stir for about 5 minutes, otherwise the sugar won’t blend properly with the quark, and you’ll taste individual sugar crystals in your mouth. If the quark is a bit too thick, you can thin it with a little milk or water. Mix thoroughly with the cucumber slices.
