Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml water, warm
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 6 tsp honey
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • possibly sunflower seeds, oat flakes etc.

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

suitable for baking with children, sugar-free, for 20 pieces

Makes approximately 20 rolls. Pour the warm water into a glass and dissolve the yeast and honey in it. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the salt and the honey-yeast mixture, and knead into a dough. The dough is ready when nothing sticks to your hands; add a little more flour if necessary. Form small rolls about the size of ping-pong balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle sunflower seeds, oatmeal, or flaxseed on the rolls and press them down, if desired. Cover the baking sheet with a kitchen towel and let rest for 30 minutes. Then bake the rolls at 200°C (convection oven) for approximately 15-20 minutes, until they are lightly browned. These sweet rolls taste best when eaten while still warm. Because they are quick and easy to prepare, the recipe is also suitable for children.
