Ingredients

  • 500 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 75 g Melted butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg Whites
  • 150 ml Milk lukewarm
  • 1 cube Fresh yeast
  • 1 Egg yolks mixed with a little milk to brush

Instructions

  • Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it (if you use dry yeast, 2 sachets of them). Mix the milk and yeast mixture with the melted butter, sugar, egg and egg white and slowly work in the flour until you have a soft, smooth batter. Cover and let the dough rest for about 30-45 minutes. Line one or two baking sheets with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 175 degrees (convection 160 degrees). Shape the dough into small balls of 50 g each and distribute them on the baking sheets. Cut something with a knife. Let it rest again until the rolls have visibly enlarged. Brush with egg yolk milk and bake for 20-25 minutes. If you like, you can also work chocolate sprinkles or drops into the dough.
