Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 0.67 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup water, cold
  • 6 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 ½ tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp onion(s), dried, (chopped onion flakes)
  • 2 ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 ½ tsp mustard powder
  • ¾ tsp celery salt
  • ¾ tsp juice (onion juice squeezed from one onion)
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 0.33 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 drops of sesame oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

tastes just like Subway

To measure, use a cup with approximately 200 ml capacity. Whisk all ingredients together and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir continuously while stirring. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened. The sauce tastes best cold and is perfect for sandwiches or baguettes.
