Recipe from my grandmother Anna from East Prussia
Knead the quark, flour, sugar, oil, baking powder, and salt into a dough. Let the dough rest briefly. In the meantime, peel the potatoes and coarsely grate them. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a size of 30 x 40 cm and brush with milk. Distribute the potatoes evenly over the dough and roll it up along the short side. Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a loaf pan and place the rolling pin in it. Lightly score the top at intervals of approximately 2 cm. Bake the potato bread in the oven for 50 minutes.
