Banana porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml water
  • 50 g oat flakes, flower-soft
  • 30 g walnuts
  • 15 g flaxseed meal
  • 1 banana(s)
  • blueberries
  • 150 g natural yogurt 1.5%
  • sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 10 hours 25 minutes

First, put the milk and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then add the oats and flaxseed and simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the porridge reaches the desired consistency. If you prefer your porridge a little more liquid, add either less oats or more liquid. Let the porridge stand for a few more minutes so that the oats and flaxseed can absorb the liquid. This time is a good time to peel the walnuts. Then mash a banana and add it to the porridge. The riper the banana, the less additional sweetener you need. Finally, either mix in the yogurt, walnuts, and blueberries or spread them on top of the porridge. The porridge tastes good both hot and cold. With two servings, one serving has 345 kcal.
