Sweet Ranch dressing with homemade spice blend

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 13 g black pepper
  • 25 g parsley, dried
  • 28 g garlic salt
  • 7 ½ g salt
  • 13 g garlic granules
  • 42 ½ g onion granules
  • 7 ½ g dill tips
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp, heaped spice mix (see above)
  • 240 ml mayonnaise
  • 240 ml buttermilk
  • 180 ml sour cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Combine all the spice mix ingredients and store in a dry place. They form the basis for a freshly made dressing every time. To make the dressing, combine the spice mix with mayonnaise and buttermilk. Stir in the sour cream and lemon juice. Then refrigerate for 2 hours until ready to use. The dressing is very sweet and anything but low in calories, but it’s a real creamy treat.
