Sweet-sour Eggs
The perfect sweet-sour eggs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 Milliliters Water
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 3 tablespoon Vinegar
- 4 tablespoon Mustard medium hot
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 75 g Diced bacon
- 6 piece Free range eggs
- Stir sugar, vinegar and mustard into 750 ml water. Cut the onion into small pieces
- Fry the onion with the bacon (raw ham cubes) and sprinkle with flour. (A typical roux)
- Slowly pour the liquid into the pan while stirring (always sip it, otherwise it will be too thin)
- Finally, crack the eggs in the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes with the lid on.
