Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 kg mussels
- 1 tbsp, heaped onion(s), red
- 3 tbsp chili sauce (sweet Thai chili sauce)
- 60 ml white wine
- 3 tbsp, heaped coriander leaves, chopped
- 3 tbsp lime juice

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Simple and sophisticated
Briefly rinse the mussels. Briefly run any that aren’t closed under cold water and flick them. If they don’t close, discard the mussel. Place the mussels in a saucepan. Add white wine, onions, sweet chili sauce, and coriander. Add lime juice and cover the pan. Bring to a boil, shaking the pan occasionally. It will take 5-6 minutes for the mussels to open. Serve the mussels with the sauce in deep plates with white bread.
