Sweet Yeast Braid

The perfect sweet yeast braid recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 ml Cream, sweet
  • 500 g Wheat flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Pc. Grated lemon peel
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 Pc. Egg white
  1. Slightly heat the whipped cream, mix in all the other ingredients and stir in the lukewarm whipped cream. Use the dough hook to make a smooth dough. Let rest in a warm place. Knead again, divide into 3 equal parts and form rolls into a plait and let rise again. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 – 40 minutes.
