quick, easy, delicious

First, wash and trim the chard. Cut the white stems into thin slices and cook in a little water until al dente. Finely chop the leaves and slice the mushrooms. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the mushrooms. Once they’re nicely fried, set aside, possibly in a warmed dish. Then add the chard—pre-cooked stems and chopped leaves—to this or a second pan, toss in melted butter, and briefly sauté with a little water. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, push the chard to the edge of the pan so that the mushrooms can be placed in the center. Briefly reheat everything and serve with mashed potatoes.
