Swiss pizza with mountain cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of pizza dough, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour
  • 180 g crème fraîche
  • 2 shallots
  • 120 g mountain cheese, spicy, coarsely grated
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp herbal salt
  • 100 g Bündnerfleisch or other raw ham
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the edges of the dough with flour. Mix the crème fraîche and onions and spread it all the way to the edges of the dough. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top. Season the tomato slices generously with salt and arrange them on the dough. Then arrange the prosciutto, cut into approximately 2 cm wide strips, on top. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and season with rosemary sprigs and pepper. Bake on the lowest rack of the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes.
