Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 Pepper, green
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 200 ml tomato(s), chopped or pureed
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- e.g. salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Bruschetta with a twist. Also great with fish or poultry.
Deseed and wash the bell peppers and chili peppers. Finely dice the onions, garlic, chili peppers, and bell peppers. This also works great in a food processor. Mix with all the other ingredients and season generously with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for a short while and enjoy. The sauce tastes great with chicken or fish. It’s also great as a quick barbecue sauce. Its super fresh flavor also makes it a great bruschetta on ciabatta or baguette.
