Tanja's South Sea Schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large pork schnitzels
  • 1 large can of fruit (fruit salad)
  • 1 pack of Béarnaise sauce
  • 3 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • some salt
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Schnitzel with delicious “South Sea sauce”, fruity

Pound the schnitzel slightly if necessary and season with salt and pepper, then sear briefly and cook slowly at a lower temperature until cooked through. Meanwhile, heat the Béarnaise sauce. Drain the fruit salad, reserving the juice. Add the fruit to the sauce and add enough juice until the desired consistency is reached. Then simmer the mixture, season well with curry powder, add soy sauce, stir until smooth, and season with salt and pepper if desired. This goes wonderfully with croquettes or fries and, of course, a healthy, fresh lettuce.
