Tapas prawns in garlic oil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 24 large shrimp
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the parsley, pat dry, and roughly chop. Trim the stems from the chili peppers and scrape out the seeds from the bottom. Rinse the peppers, drain, and cut into thin rings. Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails on. Peel the garlic, cut into sticks, and sauté in oil over moderate heat for about three minutes. Then remove the garlic from the oil and briefly bathe the shrimp in it. Remove from the oil, toss with the parsley and chili rings. Let the oil cool, and then drizzle over the shrimp.
