Tarragon – cream – ham – sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g cooked ham, cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g Parmesan, grated
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp tarragon, shredded (more to taste)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 pinch(s) black pepper, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Heat the olive oil and fry the ham cubes until lightly browned. Deglaze with the cream. Add the tarragon, 2/3 of the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, and stir. Let the mixture simmer for a short time until creamy. Season to taste, and you’re done. Be careful with the salt, as the Parmesan cheese already contains salt. Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve.
