Tarte flambée – Pizza

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar or glucose
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 200 ml water, lukewarm
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack of salami or ham
  • 1 pack of cheese
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For the dough, mix all ingredients and let stand, covered, for 30 minutes. Tip onto a baking sheet and roll out if necessary—I was able to spread it out with a spatula. Top with the toppings and brush the edges with oil. Top the rolled-out pizza dough with salami or ham and cheese. Mix 200 ml of cream with one egg, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the toppings and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Tastes like a cross between pizza and tarte flambée.
